Nathan is the broker-owner and founder of E3 Properties and is recognized as one of the most experienced and educated green real estate experts in Austin. He was a six-year staff member of Austin Energy’s award-winning Green Building Program, and is a second-generation green builder. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified EcoBroker, as well as a National Association of Realtors Green Designee. He has received advanced training in Home Energy Ratings and Solar PV Design and Installation.

Nathan consults with clients to integrate green building strategies into existing homes, future homes or development projects. He helps them to maximize energy efficiency while buying, building, maintaining or selling properties in the most environmentally conscious and cost-effective manner. He is a specialist in residential, multifamily and affordable housing, and has extensive knowledge in energy efficiency, water conservation, new construction and green remodeling.

Nathan is a 20-year Austin resident and a graduate of The University of Texas. He is a member of multiple professional and industry associations including the US Green Building Council, and is a volunteer for Austin Habitat for Humanity. Nathan also frequently gives presentations on green building and green remodeling. He and his wife live in Central Austin and have just completed building their “dream green home.”
